Best laid plans …

Hank and Shannon invited me to take some photos at their farm before their actual wedding date. As in most cases, we set the date weeks in advance. When I showed up, Shannon announced to Hank that I was there to take photos. I realized that Hank clearly had no notice of the plan! But, he calmly put his beer down, tucked in his shirt and they gave me a tour of their property. It was one of the best shoots I’ve ever done. Maybe I should surprise all my clients like that …
